Joins Dallas Fowler signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Cowboys on Friday, Nick Eatman of the team's official site reports.

Impact Fowler was cut by the Falcons in February after totaling 36 tackles, 4.5 sacks and three forced fumbles across 14 games during 2021. The 27-year-old will join the Cowboys on a one-year deal to help replace Randy Gregory, who recently signed with the Broncos.

Impact Fowler was slightly more productive in his second season with Atlanta, finishing with 36 tackles (20 solo) and 4.5 sacks across 14 appearances. However, the Falcons still opted to void the last year of the 27-year-old's three-year, $48 millon contract, so he will become a free agent this offseason. Fowler is two years removed from registering a career-high 11.5 sacks with the Rams, but he'll likely draw at least some interest from teams in search of pass rushing depth heading into the 2022 campaign.
