Not practicing again Pettis (shoulder) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Impact The Giants listed Pettis as a non-participant on their official Week 9 report for the second straight day, after he sustained a left shoulder injury in Monday's loss to the Chiefs. The lack of practice reps this week seemingly put Pettis' availability for Sunday's game against the Raiders in peril, but the Giants will see what he's able to do at Friday's session before gauging where he stands heading into the weekend. If active Sunday, Pettis could have the chance to fill a key role in the Giants' passing game. Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) appears to be trending toward sitting out Week 9, while the statuses of fellow wideouts Kenny Golladay (knee), Kadarius Toney (thumb) and John Ross (quadriceps) are up in the air.
