Could be part of timeshare Rams head coach Sean McVay hinted that Henderson may be deployed as part of a timeshare out of the backfield with Sony Michel during Tuesday's game against the Seahawks, Lindsey Th... Impact McVay has largely eschewed a timeshare arrangement this season, as Henderson has played no fewer than 59 percent of the offensive snaps in any of his 10 appearances, while Michel has logged at least 73 percent of the snaps in each of the three games that Henderson has missed. However, after Michel averaged a solid 4.5 yards per carry over the past two games while Henderson was out Week 13 with a thigh injury and Week 14 due to a stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list, McVay could be more inclined to find room for both backs in the Week 16 game plan. Henderson should garner the start by virtue of having resided atop the depth chart before he missed time, but it wouldn't be surprising if McVay favored the hotter hand between the two backs as the game rolls along. Even if he loses out on some carries, Henderson should at least serve as the Rams' preferred pass-catching option, given the lack of aptitude Michel has shown in that area throughout his career.
