Status up in air for Week 18 Waller (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Chargers, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports. Impact Waller seemed to be closing in on a Week 17 return following his bout with a strained IT band, but he landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list instead due to a positive test for the virus last Wednesday. He cleared league protocols this Wednesday and logged three limited sessions after that, but his status remains up in the air this weekend. Interim coach Rich Basaccia said a decision on Waller will depend on "where his cardio is" and "the reps that he gets" in practice, seemingly giving him a chance to play for the first time since Thanksgiving Day at Dallas. When it comes to considering the tight end in lineups, though, the Raiders are playing in the last game in the Week 18 slate, with a kickoff of 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday, making it difficult to pivot to another option if Waller misses a sixth consecutive outing.
