Impact Forrest was a fifth-round selection by Washington in the 2021 draft and had been on IR since Sept. 3. While Forrest is likely anxious to make his NFL debut, he has some work to do to move up the depth chart behind Landon Collins and Deshazor Everett. With Week 9 being a bye week for Washington, Forrest will have some extra time to try and make his debut in Week 10 against Tampa Bay.

Impact Forrest will have a 21-day period to be added to the active roster, but if he isn't, he will spend the remainder of the season on injured reserve. When healthy, the rookie fifth-round pick is expected to garner a reserve role behind Landon Collins and Deshazor Everett.
