Back in limited capacity Njoku (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Impact Njoku has dealt with a variety of health concerns this season but still made himself available on game days, seeing at least 68 percent of snaps in all six of the Browns' contests. His output has been modest (24-216-0 on 31 targets), and after sitting out Wednesday's session this week due to a knee issue, he's on a path to being available Sunday in Seattle by returning to practice one day later. Njoku's availability for Week 8 could be confirmed as soon as the release of Friday's injury report.

Impact Njoku sat out the Browns' first Week 8 practice Wednesday, but by getting back on the field Thursday, he's put himself in good position to be available for Sunday's game at Seattle. The Browns will reveal whether Njoku was a limited or full participant in his return to practice when the team releases its second injury report of the week later Thursday.

Slated to miss practice Wednesday Njoku won't practice Wednesday due to a knee issue, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Njoku logged 72 of a possible 75 snaps on offense in the Browns' 39-38 win over the Colts this past Sunday, finishing with five catches for 54 yards on nine targets. The knee issue is a new concern for Njoku, but with no reported issues coming out of this past Sunday's contest, he may just have been held out of Wednesday's session for maintenance purposes. The tight end will have two more chances to practice in advance of this weekend's game against the Seahawks.

Paces Cleveland in targets Njoku recorded five receptions on nine targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Colts.
Impact Njoku wasn't targeted until late in the second quarter, when PJ Walker entered the game. He became Walker's favorite target for the rest of the game and managed a few big plays, highlighted by gains of 26 and 17 yards. Given that he recorded season-high marks in targets and yards, it was a positive performance for Njoku, though the entire Cleveland offense remains in flux due to the uncertain status of Deshaun Watson (shoulder).
