Registers no practice activity Hopkins (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant at Tuesday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Hopkins wasn't spotted on the field earlier in the day in the portion of the practice that was available to the media, and the wideout apparently didn't get in any reps behind the scenes either. Now having been listed as a non-participant on both of Arizona's first two Week 8 practice reports, Hopkins' availability for Thursday's game against the Packers can't be viewed as a sure thing. Hopkins would assuage some of the concern about his status if he returns to the field for Wednesday's session as at least a limited participant.

Impact The official practice report should provide a better indication of Hopkins' overall participation Tuesday, but Hopkins was a non-participant Monday and may be headed for another Tuesday if the open media portion is any indication. The star wideout's injury is ill-timed given his hot stretch recently, notching four touchdowns in the last three games and a season-high seven catches versus the Texans. Hopkins has one more chance to upgrade his practice participation Wednesday ahead of the short week contest Thursday versus the Packers.

Impact Hopkins has missed some practice time this season on account of a rib injury and an illness, but the hamstring issue appears to be a new concern. The wideout seemingly wasn't affected by any injury in his first matchup with his former team (Houston) this past weekend, as he corralled seven of his nine targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 31-5 victory. Arizona may just be listing Hopkins as a non-participant on its first Week 8 practice report for maintenance-related reasons, as the Cardinals face a quick turnaround with a matchup against Green Bay on tap Thursday.
