Impact Felton played just one snap on offense, as the Browns had a full complement of backs available. He's had a presence as a receiver, but that element of Cleveland's offense has suffered due to quarterback Baker Mayfield's multiple nagging injuries.

Returns as main punt returner Felton had three carries for two yards and returned three punts for 12 yards in Sunday's 13-10 win over the Lions.

Impact Felton was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list and operated as the team's third running back but played only 12 snaps on offense. Fellow running back Nick Chubb also returned from the reserve/COVID-19 list, which put a cap on the rookie's playing time. Felton did return to being the main punt returner, however.

Impact Felton and top running back Nick Chubb (illness) both officially came off the COVID-19 list Friday morning, giving the Browns' backfield two notable additions ahead of a Week 11 matchup against Detroit. Though Felton only has three carries this season he is a key contributor on special teams, as he leads the NFL with 26 punt returns and is averaging 8.4 yards per punt return. Additionally, Felton has caught 13 of 14 targets for 147 yards and a score through nine appearances.

Week 10 status TBD Coach Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday that he does not have any updates on the status of Felton (illness) for Week 10, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Impact Stefanski said the same of Nick Chubb (illness), as both he and Felton tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday. As a result, both running backs now reside on the reserve/COVID-19 list and will need to log two negative test results at least 24 hours apart before being cleared to return to action. Kareem Hunt (calf) has already been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Patriots, so D'Ernest Johnson could once again be poised for a valuable role as the lead in Cleveland's backfield.
