Brock Wright - In line for No. 1 duties Sunday Wright is set to serve as the Lions' top tight end Sunday in Denver with T.J. Hockenson (hand) doubtful to play in the contest, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports. Impact An undrafted rookie, Wright didn't make it past roster cut-down day at the end of the preseason, but the Lions elevated him from the practice squad twice before signing him to the active roster for good Nov. 8 in the wake of Darren Fells' release. Since the Lions' Week 9 bye, Wright has earned between 28 and 51 percent of offensive snaps over the last four games, compiling four catches (on six targets) for 42 yards and one touchdown. The team will be without its top two running backs D'Andre Swift (shoulder) and Jamaal Williams (COVID-19) on Sunday, so Detroit may air it out a bit more than usual.
