On his only opportunity of the day, Seibert missed wide left from 47 yards out. Attached to one of the least reliable offenses in the league, Seibert will remain an unadvisable fantasy option when Detroit returns from its Week 9 bye to take on Pittsburgh in Week 10.

David Blough - Enters game in garbage time Blough rushed once for six yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to the Eagles.
Impact Blough entered the game on the final drive after Jared Goff had fallen into a 44-point hole. With Detroit at 0-8 and Tim Boyle (thumb) still on injured reserve, it will be interesting to see if Blough gets a chance to take over the offense coming out of the Lions' Week 9 bye.

Amon-Ra St. Brown - Modest rebound against Eagles St. Brown caught three of five targets for 46 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to Philadelphia.
Impact St. Brown easily led all Lions wideouts in targets on a day when nearly three quarters of Jared Goff's pass attempts went to tight ends and running backs. However, it was at least some sort of rebound for the rookie after he didn't see any targets last week against the Rams. This corresponded with Kalif Raymond's drop in usage, considering the veteran followed up his 100-yard Week 7 performance with a catchless outing Sunday. Still looking for a true breakout game, St. Brown won't be back on the field until Week 10 when Detroit travels to Pittsburgh.

Kalif Raymond - Lays goose egg Raymond was targeted once but he did not record a catch during Sunday's 44-6 loss to the Eagles.
Impact Coming off a 100-yard outing against the Rams, Raymond laid a goose egg against a previously beatable Eagles defense. However, tough coverage from cornerback Darius Slay certainly played a role, not to mention the fact that only nine of Jared Goff's 34 pass attempts were directed at wide receivers. Considering he entered the week averaging 5.6 targets per game, Raymond should see a heavier workload in Week 10 against Pittsburgh when Detroit returns from its Week 9 bye.

Godwin Igwebuike - Totals 58 yards in Williams' stead Igwebuike rushed three times for 18 yards while catching three of three targets for 40 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to Philadelphia.
Impact Igwebuike saw his first offensive snaps of the season thanks to the absence of Jamaal Williams (groin). The converted safety looked good doing it, too, in addition to having his best day as a kick returner. However, with Williams having a Week 9 bye to recover, it's possible Igwebuike is banished back to special-teams-only status when Detroit travels to Pittsburgh in Week 10.

Jermar Jefferson - Scores in professional debut Jefferson rushed twice for six yards and one touchdown while catching four of four targets for 23 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to the Eagles.
Impact Making his professional debut with Jamaal Williams (groin) sidelined, Jefferson ultimately shared the No. 2 role with Godwin Igwebuike as D'Andre Swift commanded the vast majority of snaps out of the backfield. While Jefferson was at least able to find the end zone on the last drive of the game, Detroit was down 44 points at that point while David Blough was in at QB. With Williams getting a chance to recover over the Lions' Week 9 bye, it's possible Jefferson could return to being a healthy scratch in Week 10 against Pittsburgh.

T.J. Hockenson - Snags double-digit receptions Hockenson caught 10 of 11 targets for 89 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to the Eagles.
Impact Seeing more than double the number of targets as the next closest player on the team, Hockenson was the only avenue through which the Lions were able to find success. However, through eight games, the tight end has now seen at least eight targets six times, which is a claim that only one other tight end in the NFL (Travis Kelce) can make. While Hockenson won't have Kelce's upside as long as Jared Goff is throwing him the ball, his usage rate is elite and it's likely that Hockenson is just approaching his physical peak. The No. 8 pick of the 2019 NFL Draft will remain a top fantasy option when the Lions return from their Week 9 bye.

D'Andre Swift - Held in check Swift carried 12 times for 27 yards while fumbling once and securing five of five targets for 24 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to Philadelphia.
Impact With Jamaal Williams (groin) sidelined, Swift commanded over 90 percent of the snaps at running back until Detroit finally gave up in the fourth quarter. Despite the massive workload, Swift was unable to overcome the general deficiencies of a Lions offense that didn't put up any points until backup running back Jermar Jefferson found the end zone in the final minutes of regulation. It didn't help that, earlier in the game, Swift lost a fumble that was ultimately returned by the Eagles for a touchdown. However, despite the disappointing performance, there's no questioning the fact that Swift and tight end T.J. Hockenson are the focal points of the offense. The running back should have a solid chance at a rebound performance against Pittsburgh in Week 10 even if Williams returns to the field by then.
