Taylor Decker - Could miss season Decker (finger) could be shut down for the rest of season, according to Chris Burke of The Athletic. Impact Decker was placed on injured reserve Sept. 11. He then returned to practice on Oct. 13. Now, though, head coach Dan Campbell is saying there's a chance Decker will be shut down for the season at the end of his three-week IR return window. Decker still has two weeks to be ready, so it's certainly too soon to say anything definitive. Decker has started every game he has played for the Lions since being drafted in the first round in 2016. The Lions 2021 first-rounder Penei Sewell has been filling Decker's role, while Matt Nelson has been playing right tackle.
