Held in check by Chiefs Singletary rushed 10 times for 32 yards and caught one of his two targets for 13 yards in Monday's 26-17 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Singletary couldn't get much going despite rainy conditions favoring a ground-based approach. In the end, Buffalo attempted a season low amount of passes, yet quarterback Josh Allen outgained Singletary with 42 yards on his eight rushes. Furthermore, rookie Zack Moss returned from injury to carry five times, but with just 10 yards, he didn't do anything to make a case for overtaking Singletary. While it'll be interesting to see how those two tailbacks split the snaps and touches going forward, Singletary could use a rebound effort after averaging just 2.7 yards per carry and totaling only 78 yards from scrimmage in Buffalo's last two games. Fortunately, a Week 7 matchup versus the woeful Jets could prove to be just what the doctor ordered for both Singletary and the Bills.

Yeldon ended up outplaying Singletary, with 52 rushing yards on seven carries and a receiving touchdown. Impact Singletary managed just 3.1 yards per carry and received a season-high 18 totes with rookie Zack Moss (toe) out of action. He totaled just 76 yards on 23 total touches but salvaged his day from a fantasy perspective with a two-yard touchdown plunge in the fourth quarter. Singletary seems to have earned a starring role in the Buffalo backfield for the time being, but the team would surely like to see him do more with his looks next Sunday against the Titans.

He failed to get into the end zone on a direct snap from the 1-yard line in the first quarter and ended up watching quarterback Josh Allen account for five touchdowns from inside the five-yard line, but Singletary's 121 scrimmage yards were eight shy of his combined total from Weeks 1 and 2. While his lack of usage in the red zone puts a cap on Singleatary's value, he should be a reliable source of yardage against the Raiders in Week 4.

Impact Through the Bills' first two games, Singletary logged 19 rushing attempts for 86 yards, while adding seven catches on 10 targets for 43 yards. In that span, Moss carried 17 times for 48 yards and caught three of his four targets for 16 yards and a TD. With Moss unavailable this weekend, Singletary should see the bulk of Buffalo's backfield work versus Los Angeles, with T.J. Yeldon a candidate to be active for the first time this season and see some change-of-pace action. Though the Rams are 2-0, they've allowed 257 rushing yards to date, resulting in solid fantasy results for Ezekiel Elliott in Week 1 and Miles Sanders in Week 2.

Impact While the Bills backfield situation continues to be a fantasy quagmire, Singletary at least slightly outpaced rookie Zack Moss in rushes during Sunday's contest and also saw two receiving touches to his teammate's none. Singletary also was the more efficient back with 5.6 yards per carry, although Moss' 4.6 figure wasn't disappointing by any stretch. The good news for both backs is that it appears it's them or bust when it comes to Buffalo's ground game, but whether Singletary can do enough to separate from his first-year competitor on a week-to-week basis remains to be seen. Singletary will look to build on Sunday's serviceable numbers against the Rams in a Week 3 home matchup.
