Impact Fitzpatrick failed to make the Steelers' initial 53-man roster in late August, but he's found a new home on the Chargers practice squad. The 26-year-old's last regular-season action came in 2023 with the Steelers, appearing in one game and recording no stats on three special-teams snaps.

Impact Fitzpatrick spent most of 2023 on the Steelers' practice squad, though he was called up for Week 4 against the Texans, during which he played three snaps on special teams. He had a solid preseason, finishing with five catches for 130 yards, highlighted by a 59-yard reception in the Steelers' preseason finale against the Lions on Saturday. Fitzpatrick has appeared in just six regular-season games since being selected by the Titans in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Assuming he clears waivers, Fitzpatrick should be able to catch on with another team, most likely on a practice squad.
