Impact Moore, as Carolina's top receiver, will surely be taking note of the team's quarterback competition between Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. However, with tight races at other positions, Moore suggests the team's level of competitiveness has collectively increased. For his part, Moore will be in search of his first Pro Bowl selection this season after posting at least 1,150 yards in each of the last three campaigns. Regardless of who claims the quarterback job, Moore should be a consistent producer and key contributor to the Panthers offense once again.

Impact Previously scheduled to play out 2022 on a fifth-year option, Moore is now signed with the Panthers through 2025. He's finished between 1,157 and 1,193 receiving yards three straight seasons, with exactly four TDs each year, but his per-target efficiency took a nose-dive in 2021 (57.1 percent catch rate, 7.1 YPT) with the Panthers offense hitting a new low point. On the bright side, Moore's 163 targets last season were a career-high by 28, and he could break out in 2022 if similar volume is accompanied by better quarterback play. At the moment, however, it looks like the Panthers have missed out on all the top veteran QBs available, perhaps forcing them to settle for a mediocre veteran or a rookie in the upcoming NFL Draft. Regardless, Moore is the clear top option in the passing game, rivaled only (at times) by RB Christian McCaffrey.

Impact Moore showed off his leaping ability on a couple of his grabs, hurdling a defender early before making a jumping catch over the middle later on. The wideout posted his highest reception tally since Week 4, and Moore also turned in his best yardage output since Week 12. Despite spotty quarterback play for most of the campaign and the loss of his offensive coordinator midway through as well, Moore still topped 1,000 receiving yards for the third straight season. With 2022 being the last year under his rookie contract, Moore will look to cash in with a lucrative extension this offseason before likely returning to the Panthers as their top receiving option next term.

Impact Moore led the Panthers in targets but couldn't get much going against a tough Saints defense. Most his yardage came on a 20-yard catch during the second half, but Moore followed that contribution with a drop shortly thereafter. Having racked up at least seven targets in every game this season, Moore figures to remain a focal point in Week 18's finale versus the Buccaneers. Although that matchup surely doesn't favor the Panthers, game flow might help Moore improve on Sunday's lackluster output.

Impact Considering the quarterback duo of Sam Darnold and Cam Newton completed less than 50 percent of their throws, Moore's numbers were actually serviceable. The fourth-year wideout tied Robby Anderson for the team lead in receptions and paced Carolina in targets on the afternoon as well. Moore's upside is likely to be capped to an extent the rest of the way with both Darnold and Newton seemingly destined to struggle, but he remains a serviceable option heading into the final two weeks of the fantasy season.
