Impact Moore is set to practice Wednesday, but the extent of his activity won't be known until the Panthers release their first Week 15 report later in the day. The report will also clarify whether the wideout is past an ankle issue that he had been dealing with prior to landing on the COVID list. In the last two games he suited up, Moore combined for 11 catches for 188 yards on 20 targets.

Expected to come off COVID list Moore (ankle) is expected to be removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list in time for Sunday's game against the Packers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact Moore missed last weekend's 32-27 loss to the Broncos while on the COVID list, but it looks like he's on track to rejoin teammates in the near future. The 23-year-old hasn't actually had a chance to resume practicing since suffering a sprained ankle Week 12, but it appears as though his physical health has been trending upward.

Not expected to play Moore (ankle) isn't likely to be removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list before Sunday's game against the Broncos, according to David Newton of ESPN.com.

Impact Fellow wide receiver Curtis Samuel was removed from the list Friday, along with LB Shaq Thompson and DL Derrick Brown. On the other hand, Moore and DT Zach Kerr remain on the list, so they may not be able to play Sunday. Between the Week 13 bye and his current issue, Moore hasn't had a chance to practice since he sprained his ankle at the end of Carolina's Week 12 loss to Minnesota.

Impact Moore's status for Week 14 was already up in the air due to an ankle injury, and his placement on the COVID-19 list represents a significant new hurdle ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos. Impact Moore was forced out of Sunday's narrow loss to the Vikings late in the fourth quarter, after he landed awkwardly on his right ankle while trying to adjust to an overthrown deep ball in the end zone. The third-year wideout has since had X-rays done Monday, the results of which revealed that he's avoided any sort of severe injury, such as a fracture. If he's able to make substantial progress during Carolina's Week 13 bye, it appears possible that Moore could avoid missing any time.

Impact On third-and-goal just after the two-minute warning, Moore landed awkwardly on his right leg after attempting to make a leaping grab in the end zone. He required assistance to get off the field and was unable to return, ending his day with four catches (on nine targets) for 61 yards. The Panthers have a Week 13 bye on tap, so Moore will have two weeks to recover before the team's next game, which will come Sunday, Dec. 13, against the Broncos.
