Bound for Chicago The Bears agreed Friday to acquire Moore and four draft picks from the Panthers in exchange for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact Along with Moore, the Bears will receive the Nos. 9 and 61 overall picks in this year's draft, a 2024 first-round pick and a 2025 second-round selection. Moore, who caught 63 passes for 888 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 games for the Panthers in 2022, should serve as Chicago's top wideout this coming season, while Carolina is now in position to take a quarterback first overall next month.

After three straight 1,000-yard campaigns, Moore finishes this season with just 888 yards in 17 games. While his 63 catches and 117 targets both marked lows since his rookie year as well, Moore at least compensated by scoring a personal-best seven times. Although it's unclear who will be throwing him passes next season, Moore figures to remain atop the Panthers' wide-receiver depth chart, giving him a solid floor despite dealing with Carolina's quarterback carousel the past couple campaigns.

Impact Moore paced the Panthers in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon while recording a touchdown for his third straight game. The fourth-year pro's 24-yard scoring grab midway through the second quarter gave Carolina a 14-0 lead at the time and pushed his career-high tally to seven, while the 100-yard effort was his fourth of the campaign. Moore's late-season rapport with Sam Darnold is certainly encouraging, and he'll aim to put a strong cap to the season in Week 18 against the Saints on the road.
