Resolves contract dispute Brown and the Seahawks agreed Tuesday on a reworked contract that maxes out at $12 million for 2021 and converts per-game bonuses to guaranteed money for 2022, Adam Schefter of ESP... Impact Brown sat out all of training camp and the preseason while looking for an adjustment of his contract heading into Week 1, and both player and team appear to have finally come to a resolution. According to Schefter, Brown's reworked deal also includes an injury protection benefit for 2022, which was enough to incentivize the star left tackle to end his holdout. Assuming Brown has been able to keep himself in game shape while he was away from the team, he'll be protecting Russell Wilson's blind side in the Seahawks' season opener Sunday in Indianapolis.
