Lamar Jackson and the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens look to bounce back when they visit the struggling Chicago Bears

Absent from practice Wednesday
Jackson (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Impact
Jackson originally picked up the injury in Week 8 against San Francisco but wasn't quite ready to get back on the field after the bye week. The 27-year-old will most likely need to get out there Thursday or Friday in order to suit up against Baltimore on Sunday.

Could return against Ravens
Coach Matt Nagy said Monday that he's "hoping" Jackson (hamstring) will be able to return Sunday against the Ravens, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Impact
Jackson was inactive for the Bears' loss to the Steelers due to his hamstring injury but has a chance to return following the team's Week 10 bye. The safety was held out of practice ahead of Week 9, so he'll presumably have to return to practice this week if he hopes to play against Baltimore.

ROTOWIRE
Inactive Monday
Jackson (hamstring) is inactive for Monday's matchup with the Steelers.
Impact
No surprise here, as Jackson was deemed doubtful prior to the contest. He was a non-participant at practice all week due to a hamstring injury. The absence will be his first since 2018. Marqui Christian will presumably fill in for him.

ROTOWIRE
Doubtful for Monday
Jackson (hamstring) is officially doubtful for Monday against the Steelers.
Impact
Jackson has missed practice all week after injuring his hamstring against the 49ers on Sunday. If Jackson, who hasn't missed a game since 2018, can't go Monday, Marqui Christian will likely step into the starting role.

ROTOWIRE
Misses practice Thursday
Jackson (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday.
Impact
Jackson left Sunday against the 49ers on the second play of the game and was unable to return. He's been a mainstay on the Bears defense since 2017 and hasn't missed a game since 2018. Luckily for Jackson he'll have an extra day to get ready this week as the Bears don't play until Monday against the Steelers. If Jackson can't go, Marqui Christian will likely step into the starter role.

Questionable to return
Jackson (hamstring) is questionable to return Sunday against the 49ers.
Impact
Jackson got injured in the second play of the game and it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return or not. Deandre Houston-Carson is replacing him in the meantime.

ROTOWIRE
Strong performance in defeat
Jackson tallied 11 tackles in the Bears' 38-3 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Impact
After failing to surpass five tackles in four of his first five games, Jackson has 19 stops over the last two weeks, and while he's riding his hot streak, he's a reasonable fantasy starter in IDP leagues.

•
ROTOWIRE
Strong performance in defeat
Jackson notched eight tackles in the Bears' 24-14 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Impact
Jackson posted a season-high tackle total after collecting just six tackles over the last two games combined. With no sacks or interceptions on the season, he's a volatile IDP option with a low weekly scoring floor.

ROTOWIRE
Produces six tackles
Jackson recorded six tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 26-6 loss to the Browns.
Impact
Jackson has been dinged up this year with wrist and toe injuries, but he's not showing any ill effects, handling every defensive snap this year. The fifth-year safety recorded a career-high 82 stops last year. He's off to a good start to match that this year.

Active against Rams
Jackson (wrist) is active for the Bears Week 1 matchup against the Rams on Sunday.
Impact
Jackson was questionable due to a wrist injury, though he logged full practices throughout the week. As that participation would indicate, Jackson is ready to go and should play a key role in trying to shut down the Rams' offense.

•
ROTOWIRE
Questionable despite full practices
Jackson (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Impact
Jackson's injury designation is peculiar considering he was able to participate fully in every practice this week. Chances are he'll be able to give it a go for Sunday's season opener, but confirmation likely won't be available until shortly prior to kickoff.

Ready to practice
The Bears announced Tuesday that Jackson (hamstring) will be activated from the non-football injury list and resume practicing.
Impact
Jackson missed the start of training camp due to a hamstring strain, but he's now returned to health. The safety will have a few days to warm up before Saturday's preseason contest against the Dolphins, though the Bears' starters may only see limited reps.

Moves to NFI list
Jackson (hamstring) was placed on the non-football injury list Wednesday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Impact
Coach Matt Nagy said earlier in the day that Jackson was dealing with a minor hamstring injury, so it shouldn't be a lengthy absence for the safety. He'll have two-plus weeks to get healthy for the preseason opener Aug. 14 versus Miami.
