Impact Finally some good news for the Packers' offensive line. Star left tackle David Bakhtiari underwent another surgery this offseason, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports, and Jenkins is the most logical replacement at that position. Jenkins has demonstrated the ability to excel at all five offensive line positions and is by far his team's most valuable asset there until Bakhtiari returns.

Begins camp on PUP list The Packers placed Jenkins (knee) on the active/PUP list to start training camp, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Jenkins is recovering from an ACL tear he suffered in November of 2021. When healthy, the 2019 second-round pick projects to start at right tackle. However, he remains without a firm timetable for return. If he starts the season on the PUP list, he will not be eligible to return until Week 6.

Impact It's a good sign for Jenkins' recovery that he's up and moving as he attempts to work back from the ACL tear he suffered in November of 2021. The Packers are hoping his rehab process will be swifter than that of teammate David Bakhtiari, who is still struggling to come back from a December 2020 tear. Green Bay is banking on Jenkins to be ready to start at right tackle in 2022 after letting Billy Turner go this offseason.
