Impact Cooks didn't record any stats while playing seven snaps on offense and four snaps on special teams in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Texans. The wide receiver can be elevated one more time before Jacksonville would have to officially sign him to the active roster.

Impact Cooks was previously elevated for Week 9, but he played only three offensive snaps and didn't record any stats against the Eagles. The San Jose State product played in nine games for Jacksonville as a rookie last year and tallied three catches on four targets for 38 yards. Cooks' opportunity Sunday comes as a result of Gabe Davis landing on IR due to a knee injury.

Impact Cooks and fellow practice squad wideout Austin Trammell were each elevated for Week 9 for the first time of the 2024 regular season. While Trammell saw 33 snaps on offense, Cooks had just three and the latter did not record a stat. With Christian Kirk (collarbone) out for the rest of the year, Cooks and Trammell could both be elevated for Week 10 against the Vikings, especially if Gabe Davis (shoulder) remains sidelined.

Impact The San Jose State product didn't make the cut for Jacksonville's initial 53-man roster, but he's found a spot on the practice squad. Cooks appeared in nine games for the Jaguars in 2023, hauling in three of his four targets for 38 yards and no touchdowns while playing 147 total snaps (105 offensive and 42 on special teams).

Impact Cooks appeared in nine games with Jacksonville last season, making three catches on four targets for 38 yards, all of which were recorded in Week 16 against the Buccaneers. The 25-year-old could be a candidate to remain with the franchise as a member of its practice squad.
