Impact Per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com, Mitchell was on the practice field Friday for the second straight day, but he continued to sport a blue no-contact jersey during the session. The 49ers may just be taking some extra precaution by limiting Mitchell's exposure to contact, but his ability to practice in any capacity on back-to-back days bodes well for his chances of suiting up this weekend. Fantasy managers will still want to check back in on the status of Mitchell approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, when San Francisco will release its inactive list. Assuming Mitchell is active, he should serve as the 49ers' lead option on the ground after clearing 100 yards rushing in both of the past two weeks.
