Not in uniform for preseason opener Moore (quad) was not spotted during warmups prior to Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants, according to Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York.

Impact Moore left Thursday's practice with a quad injury, and although the results of a follow-up MRI have not been released, it does not appear he will take the field Saturday. Expect the Jets to provide an official update on Moore's status at some point in the coming days.

Getting MRI on quad Moore will have an MRI on his quad following an early exit from practice Thursday, Connor Hughes of The Athletic reports.

Impact Coach Robert Saleh didn't actually rule Moore out for Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants, but the scheduling of an MRI suggests the rookie's injury is serious enough to keep him sidelined for at least a few days. Moore could make it back for the second or third week of the preseason as he makes his case for regular snaps at a crowded position in New York.
