Signs with Falcons Harris signed a contract with the Falcons on Thursday, Jason Butt of the Atlanta News Now reports.
Impact Harris spent the past four seasons with the Raiders, during which he saw a significant amount of defensive snaps as he served as the starting strong safety for the team. During his 2020 campaign, Harris posted 61 tackles (44 solo), five pass breakups and a forced fumble through 14 games. The 30-year-old will aim to provide a boost to Atlanta's secondary in the upcoming NFL season.

That, of course, is a huge dip from his typical workload, as Harris started the 2020 campaign with nine straight starts and an average of 56.3 defensive snaps per game Weeks 1 through 10. The chances of him being active for a Week 13 matchup against the Jets are strong, with Harris having upgraded from limited to full practice participation between Wednesday and Thursday.
