Impact In the Cowboys' Week 9 loss to the Broncos, Elliott exited the contest for a spell due to a bruised right knee. The result was a season-low snap share (53 percent) and carry count (11), but he still managed 76 yards from scrimmage with the benefit of three catches. Reserve running back Tony Pollard didn't benefit with Elliott hobbled -- five touches for 43 total yards -- as the Cowboys were pass happy in the second half in an attempt to erase a huge deficit. In any case, Elliott continues to tend to the knee injury, meaning his status is one to monitor as the week progresses.
