Impact Brightwell played eight offensive snaps and caught his only target for six yards in Week 1, but he wasn't part of the offense in Week 2. The 22-year-old is not a viable fantasy option as long as Saquon Barkley and Devontae Booker are healthy.

Impact Brightwell did not record a single carry in the contest while operating as the team's No. 3 running back. The rookie played eight of a total 61 offensive snaps as the Giants struggled to get much of anything going on offense. Brightwell is not a trustworthy option for fantasy managers as long as both Saquon Barkley and Devontae Booker are healthy. Next up for the Giants is a Thursday night tilt against Washington to kick of Week 2.

Features late Sunday Brightwell rushed three times for seven yards in Sunday's 17-13 preseason loss to the Browns. He also caught three of five targets for 12 yards.

Impact Brightwell saw action behind Devontae Booker and Corey Clement. The rookie sixth-rounder didn't manage many yards, but Brightwell at least showed some pass-catching utility, tying for the team high in receptions. Although Booker and Clement represent needed veteran insurance behind star Saquon Barkley, Brightwell nonetheless will hope to earn a roster spot following next weekend's exhibition finale.

The next few weeks of the preseason could be big for Brightwell, who's competing with Corey Clement for No. 3 on the depth chart behind Saquon Barkley (knee) and Devontae Booker.
