Officially clears protocols Pratt (illness) officially cleared the NFL's COVID-19 protocols Monday and is good to go for Week 18, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.

Impact Pratt was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday in anticipation he'd play in Week 17, but he still tested positive Sunday morning and was ultimately downgraded to out. However, he has now cleared protocols after being sidelined for five days and will be available for the team's Week 18 showdown with the Browns. In his last four appearances, Pratt has totaled 39 tackles, one forced fumble and half a sack.

Impact According to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, Pratt tested negative for the virus Saturday and was reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list later that day in anticipation that he would clear the NFL's COVID-19 return-to-play protocol Sunday morning. However, Dehner relays that Pratt's second test didn't return negative, leaving him unavailable to play Sunday. Logan Wilson and Markus Bailey are expected to serve as Cincinnati's primary linebackers while the team typically keeps four defensive linemen and five defensive backs on the field.

Next on deck, the starting linebacker will travel to Denver for Week 15. He's played 95-plus percent of defensive snaps in back-to-back contests.
