Finds end zone Igwebuike rushed seven times for 21 yards and a touchdown while catching his only target for four yards during Saturday's preseason loss to the Steelers.

Impact Igwebuike was bottled up on most of his attempts, but he showed some burst on an eight-yard touchdown run to start the fourth quarter. With each of D'Andre Swift (groin), Jamaal Williams and Jermar Jefferson likely to be rested during Detroit's preseason finale Friday against the Colts, the converted safety could see even more work on the ground alongside Dedrick Mills and Craig Reynolds.

Switching to running back Igwebuike is being moved to running back during the start of training camp, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Impact After bouncing around the league as a safety since going undrafted in 2018, Igwebuike is not only getting a look at running back but kick returner as well. However, the Northwestern product is buried on the depth chart at both positions and Igwebuike remains a long shot to make the final roster out of training camp.
