Danny Amendola - Sustains knee injury Amendola suffered a knee injury during Week 12's loss to the Jets and could miss up to four weeks, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact Amendola underwent a scope of the knee Tuesday, and the Texans await the results. This will be the second time in 2021 that the 36-year-old slot receiver misses significant time. He was unavailable for four games early this season due to a hamstring injury. Despite missing those games, Amendola currently ranks tied for third on the Texans with 29 targets, which means others will fill that void. Brandin Cooks could receive more looks, but he's already well established as the team's No 1. Further down the depth chart, rookie Nico Collins, who's averaged 4.2 targets over six games since returning from his own injury, could see additional targets. Houston also has veterans Chris Conley and Chris Moore rostered. Moore was signed to the active roster after Amendola's first injury and remained on the roster since. He may be the primary fill-in at slot receiver.
