Laremy Tunsil - Plans to play through injury Tunsil was diagnosed Monday with a torn UCL in his left thumb that will require surgery, but he plans to play through the injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact Tunsil was injured late in the first quarter of Sunday's contest against the Patriots and was eventually replaced by Geron Christian for the remainder of the game. The 27-year-old is a key piece for the Texans' offensive line, so if he was forced to miss an extended period it would be a huge blow. Tunsil's status will be worth monitoring if he is allowed to play through the injury.

It should be noted that these were his first attempts since returning from a leg injury in Week 4. Other than a kickoff, he did not make the field during last week's 40-0 loss to Buffalo.

Impact Brown had his best game since Week 1, when he caught four of five targets for 67 yards. Since then, the fourth-year tight end has three catches on six targets for 28 yards. Brown is the position group's snap-count leader through five games, but the offense has largely sputtered since rookie Davis Mills took over at quarterback.

Impact Akins leads Houston's tight ends in targets (12) and catches (eight), but there's not a lot of fantasy value coming from the team's passing game in general. Fellow tight ends Pharaoh Brown and Antony Auclair share the load while currently playing with an inconsistent rookie quarterback in Davis Mills.

Impact Auclair, who has played all five games this season because of his blocking ability, was a target for the first time in 2021. This was also his first career touchdown. Houston's quarterback situation isn't conducive to producing much fantasy value for receivers, so Auclair shouldn't be viewed as a worthy addition to any fantasy lineup, especially considering he is behind both Jordan Akins and Pharaoh Brown in terms of snaps and targets.
