Impact Walker won't be available for the beginning of training camp as a result of being placed on the NFI list. He spent his first four seasons in Denver and recorded 4.5 sacks in 2020 before signing a deal with Houston in April.

Lonnie Johnson Jr. - On NFI list The Texans placed Johnson on the non-football injury list Wednesday with an unspecified issue, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.

Impact Johnson will be sidelined for the start of camp as a result of the transaction. While transitioning from cornerback to safety last season, Johnson appeared in all 16 games and recorded 76 total tackles.

Impact Brown re-signed with Houston on a one-year, $2.2 million deal in the spring, but he's not healthy entering training camp. The 27-year-old appeared in 13 games in 2020 and caught 14 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns.

Impact Armstrong will have about two weeks to get healthy before the Texans' preseason opener Aug. 14 against the Packers. The reserve cornerback appeared in 10 games in 2020, playing all 190 of his snaps on special teams.

Anthony Miller - Available for start of camp Miller (undisclosed) worked out with the Texans on the first day of training camp Wednesday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Miller had sustained a minor injury while participating in offseason activities with the Bears, but he was healthy for the start of Houston's training camp, four days after the Texans acquired him. After Houston traded Randall Cobb to Green Bay earlier in the day, Miller looks like the top slot receiver on the depth chart, although Keke Coutee will challenge him during camp and the preseason.
