Impact Taylor, who has missed two straight contests, thus has two more chances to return to practice in advance of Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Meanwhile, Trey Sermon (knee) is also absent from practice Wednesday, leaving Tyler Goodson and Evan Hull as the Colts' top healthy RBs at this stage of the week.

Impact With top back Jonathan Taylor having missed time with an ankle injury and Sermon now contending with an ankle issue, the Colts signed Salvon Ahmed to their practice squad Wednesday, bolstering the depth of a backfield that also includes Tyler Goodson and Evan Hull. The team's upcoming practice report will provide added context with regard to Taylor and Sermon's Week 7 status by clarifying their participation level.

Impact Granson has been held without a reception for three straight weeks. The 26-year-old veteran finished third in offensive snaps (17) Sunday as the Colts' No. 3 tight end behind Mo Alie-Cox (34) and Drew Ogletree (21). Through six games, Granson has totaled just two catches for 49 yards on five targets. The 6-foot-3, 242-pounder should remain far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 7 matchup with the Dolphins.

Nick Cross - Eight tackles against Tennessee Cross logged eight tackles (four solo) during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Titans.
Impact Cross was the Colts' second-leading tackler Sunday behind Zaire Franklin (nine). Cross has played at least 55 defensive snaps in all six regular-season games and has played 100 percent of the Colts' defensive snaps in five of six contests. He's up to 60 combined tackles on the year, which is tied for fourth-most in the NFL with Franklin, Budda Baker and E.J. Speed.

Impact Franklin is now tied with teammate E.J. Speed for the third-most tackles in the league at 60. He's an every-week starter in IDP formats, and he should be a strong option in Week 7 versus the Dolphins, who need to stick to the run game without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion).

Anthony Richardson - Will start Week 7 barring setback Coach Shane Steichen said Monday that Richardson (oblique) will start Sunday's game against the Dolphins barring a setback, George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin reports.
Impact Richardson was close to playing in this past Sunday's win over the Titans but ultimately sat out while Joe Flacco got a second consecutive start. Flacco has posted a 7:1 TD:INT in less than three full games while filling in for Richardson, but there's no quarterback controversy in Indianapolis, and the starting job will be Richardson's once he's healthy enough to take it. If Richardson's able to practice without limitations during the week, he could avoid carrying an injury designation into the game against Miami.

Julian Blackmon - Grabs interception in win Blackmon had six total tackles and an interception in Sunday's win at Tennessee.
Impact Blackmon played on all 58 of the defense's snaps. He's a steady source of tackles as a starting safety opposite Nick Cross.

Drew Ogletree - Two receptions in win Ogletree had two receptions for 24 yards on two targets in Sunday's win at Tennessee.
Impact He played on 21 of the offense's 70 snaps (Mo Alie-Cox played 34 and Kylen Granson played 17) and had the second most targets (Alie-Cox had four) among tight ends. While Alie-Cox has had a few more targets with Joe Flacco at quarterback, the Colts continue to divide the workload relatively evenly between three our four tight ends, which limits Ogletree's upside.

Alec Pierce - No receptions in win Pierce had four targets but did not have a reception or carry in Sunday's win at Tennessee.
Impact Joe Flacco tried several times to connect with Pierce on a deep passes but missed. Pierce is mostly a deep threat in the offense, so he's going to be a boom-or-bust option for fantasy football purposes each week.

Adonai Mitchell - Two receptions in win Mitchell had two receptions for nine yards on four targets in Sunday's win at Tennessee.
Impact Mitchell played on 15 of the offense's 70 snaps as he is getting limited regular work as the fourth receiver. However, his role could increase if Michael Pittman has any setback to a back injury (Pittman played through a sore back Sunday).

Mo Alie-Cox - Four receptions in win Alie-Cox had four receptions for 41 yards on four targets in Sunday's win at Tennessee.
Impact Alie-Cox wasn't on the field for Indy's first play offense, but played the most snaps among the tight ends. He played on 34 of the offense's 70 snaps (Drew Ogletree played 21 and Kylen Granson played 17) and went out on the most routes (16 compared to 8 for Ogletree and 13 for Granson). Alie-Cox has seen an uptick in targets with Joe Flacco at quarterback with four each of the past two games. While that may not be sustainable with how the Colts divide the workload evenly between three or four tight ends, Alie-Cox may be worth a look in deep formats when Flacco starts.

Matt Gay - Does job in win Gay made both of his two field-goal attempts and both of his two extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-17 win at Tennessee.
Impact Both of Gay's field goals came from less than thirty yards out, and he's still perfect from that range for his career. However, he doesn't have a field goal from longer than 40 yards through five games this season, so he'll still be looking for his first from that range in Week 7 versus the Dolphins.

Impact Goodson finished with a team-high amount of rushing yards thanks in large part to a game-long 33-yard run. The second-year back was also encouragingly involved as a pass catcher, with his four receptions serving as a career high. If Jonathan Taylor (ankle) is forced to sit out a third consecutive game in next Sunday's home matchup against the Dolphins, Goodson may have earned himself a much closer time share with interim lead back Trey Sermon.

Trey Sermon - Struggles for yardage Sunday Sermon rushed 18 times for 29 yards and wasn't targeted in the Colts' 20-17 win over the Titans on Sunday.
Impact Sermon scuffled his way to a meager 1.6 yards per carry, and 11 of his yards actually came on one of his attempts. The journeyman back was outperformed by Tyler Goodson, who rode a game-long 33-yard run on the way to an average of 6.4 yards per carry on eight attempts. Neither back figures to have much fantasy relevance if Jonathan Taylor is able to return from his ankle injury in Week 7 against the Dolphins; however, if the latter misses at least one more game, Goodson may have earned himself a larger role at Sermon's expense.

Josh Downs - Paces pass catchers in win Downs brought in seven of nine targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 20-17 win over the Titans on Sunday. He also returned four punts for 67 yards.
Impact Downs' reception, yardage and target totals all set the pace for the Colts on the afternoon, and the second-year wideout also opened the scoring with a 22-yard touchdown grab to cap off the opening possession of the contest. Downs has at least seven catches and Sunday's yardage total in three consecutive games, and he should finally have a chance to play a full game with Anthony Richardson (oblique) in 2024 during a Week 7 home battle against the Dolphins.
