Marlon Mack - Available on trade market Mack and the Colts have mutually agreed to seek a trade, resulting in him being inactive for Sunday's 25-16 loss to the Titans, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Impact Mack entered the 2021 campaign at full health after going down with a season-ending torn Achilles' tendon in Week 1 of 2020, but he played just 12 total snaps through the Colts' first two contests before donning street clothes in Tennessee. With second-year standout Jonathan Taylor carrying the load on the ground and Nyheim Hines locked in as the Colts' top pass-catching option out of the backfield, Mack -- who doesn't contribute on special teams -- was left without much of a role in Indianapolis. According to Pelissero, no Mack trade is imminent at the moment, so the 25-year-old could remain inactive for a few more games until a suitor for his services emerges. Given that he's now healthy, signed to a cost-effective expiring deal and has prior experience in a lead role, Mack could be an appealing target for a team whose backfield depth has been tested early on this season.
