Jacob Eason - Demotion on the horizon? Brett Hundley will be the backup quarterback behind Carson Wentz on Sunday, which leaves Eason's future in question, Mike Wells of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Hundley was elevated ahead of Week 3 and operated as the backup behind a banged up Wentz (ankle). It's unclear if the Colts plan to demote Eason to the practice squad, or if they will elect to keep all three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. Either way, Eason's future in Indy doesn't look bright. The 23-year-old completed two of his five passes for 25 yards and threw an interception after replacing Wentz with two minutes remaining in Week 2.

Marlon Mack - Available on trade market Mack and the Colts have mutually agreed to seek a trade, resulting in him being inactive for Sunday's 25-16 loss to the Titans, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact Mack entered the 2021 campaign at full health after going down with a season-ending torn Achilles' tendon in Week 1 of 2020, but he played just 12 total snaps through the Colts' first two contests before donning street clothes in Tennessee. With second-year standout Jonathan Taylor carrying the load on the ground and Nyheim Hines locked in as the Colts' top pass-catching option out of the backfield, Mack -- who doesn't contribute on special teams -- was left without much of a role in Indianapolis. According to Pelissero, no Mack trade is imminent at the moment, so the 25-year-old could remain inactive for a few more games until a suitor for his services emerges. Given that he's now healthy, signed to a cost-effective expiring deal and has prior experience in a lead role, Mack could be an appealing target for a team whose backfield depth has been tested early on this season.
