Impact Pascal crossed the goal line for the third time in two games when he recorded an eight-yard scoring grab late in the third quarter in connection with Carson Wentz (ankle). The veteran clearly is a red-zone factor in coach Frank Reich's scheme, which helps make up for the fact Pascal doesn't flash much explosiveness between the 20s. Pascal will look to continue his hot start in a Week 3 road matchup against the Titans, but his outlook would undoubtedly suffer if Jacob Eason is forced to start the contest in Wentz's stead.

Jack Doyle - Steps up in Week 2 loss Doyle brought in five of eight targets for 64 yards in the Colts' 27-24 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Impact With Parris Campbell (abdomen) out of action, Doyle stepped up to draw even with Zach Pascal for second on the team in receptions. The veteran tight end also checked in second in targets, displaying some strong chemistry with Carson Wentz (ankle) before the latter was forced from the contest. Doyle's production was a notable improvement from his 3-21-0 receiving line Week 1, and he could be called upon quite frequently as a security blanket in a Week 3 road battle against the Titans if second-year quarterback Jacob Eason is forced to fill in for Wentz.

Impact The second-year signal-caller drew the proverbial short straw for Sunday's emergency duty, coming into the contest with the game on the line against a ferocious defense. Eason promptly was intercepted on his second pass attempt to short-circuit what would be the Colts' last realistic opportunity to drive for at least a tie, and his only two completions subsequently came against an extreme prevent defense with under 30 seconds remaining and deep in his own territory. Wentz significantly rolled his ankle on the play that knocked him out of the contest as per postgame reports, so it remains to be seen if Eason will be called on for a spot start versus the Titans on the road in Week 3.

Jonathan Taylor - Quiet day in loss Taylor rushed 15 times for 51 yards and secured his only target for two yards in the Colts' 27-24 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Impact Taylor ceded a total of six carries to Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines, leaving with what is arguably a disappointing tally for the second time in as many games to open the season. The second-year pro had 17 totes in a Week 1 loss to the Seahawks as well, and his pedestrian average of 3.4 yards per carry Sunday only added to the disillusionment of Taylor's fantasy managers.
