Impact Dulin and Sam Ehlinger didn't connect on a tipped pass for an interception that may have partially been Dulin's fault. Dulin was thought to have a firm grip on a roster spot heading into the preseason, but both Mike Strachan and Dezmon Patmon have had strong training camps and preseason performances. The competition for the final receiver roles will likely come down to the wire.

Zach Pascal - Four receptions Saturday Pascal caught all four of his targets for 41 yards in Saturday's preseason win at Minnesota.

Impact Pascal started opposite Michael Pittman at wide receiver with T.Y. Hilton sitting out. Pascal will remain a steady presence in the Indy passing game and fill in at several roles, but he may not have much upside for targets if both Hilton and Parris Campbell stay healthy.

Impact Strachan is battling Dezmon Patmon and Ashton Dulin for perhaps the final roster spot at wide receiver. Both Strachan and Patmon are seen as having strong training camps and have had strong preseason games, even though Strachan didn't overly impress Saturday.

Impact Patmon is battling Mike Strachan and Ashton Dulin for perhaps the final roster spot at wide receiver. Patmon has had two impressive preseason games and looks likely to win a roster spot. However, he'd need several injuries in the receiving corps to get significant playing time on offense.

Jordan Wilkins - Five carries Saturday Wilkins had five carries for 20 yards and two receptions for two yards in Saturday's preseason win over Minnesota.

Impact Wilkins will likely have a reserve role and sits fourth on the running back depth chart, but he's been given larger opportunities at times by the coaching staff. Over his 15 regular-season appearances in 2020, Wilkins logged 84 carries for 308 yards and a touchdown while also securing 12 of 16 targets for 105 yards.

Impact Both Blankenship and Eddy Pineiro have been nearly perfect in training camp and the preseason. Blankenship will likely retain this starting job from last season unless he stumbles. He had a solid rookie campaign, missing only five kicks (including PATs) inside of 50 yards. However, he had a key 33-yard misfire late in the third quarter against Buffalo during the playoffs.

Impact Paye has drawn rave reviews in training camp and got his first sack as a professional. He missed some time with a sore ankle, but it doesn't look like an issue for the regular season. The 2021 first-round draft pick will be counted on to make an impact in the pass rush after several high-profile departures in the offseason.

Parris Campbell - Blanked in box score Campbell was held without a catch on two targets during Saturday's preseason victory in Minnesota.

Impact Campbell's first target was a high pass from Sam Ehlinger that went off his fingertips and into the arms of Vikings linebacker Troy Dye, who returned it to the house for the only TD of the game. The performance was a far cry from preseason Week 1, when Campbell's only look from Jacob Eason went for a 37-yard gain. Considering Eason has been the more consistent passer between him and Ehlinger, Campbell and the rest of the offense may fair better with Eason if one of the two is called on to start for Carson Wentz (foot) in Week 1.

Michael Pittman Jr. - Snags one pass Saturday Pittman posted one catch (on two targets) for seven yards during Saturday's preseason victory at Minnesota.

Impact Even with veteran T.Y. Hilton taking a seat, Pittman wasn't targeted by starter Sam Ehlinger until the first play of the second quarter, and his only catch went for seven yards. Meanwhile, all of Mo Alie-Cox, Zach Pascal, Parris Campbell, Nyheim Hines and even Farrod Green earned targets before Pittman. Pittman seems to be vying with Pascal and Campbell for slotting on the wide receiver depth chart, but Carson Wentz's foot injury has led to uneven quarterback play from Ehlinger and Jacob Eason, the primary competitors for a potential Week 1 start.
