Goes on IR Hayek (shoulder) reverted to the Chiefs' reserve/injured list Thursday after going unclaimed off waivers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact Hayek signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Villanova in May. He has been held out of practices and preseason games since sustaining a shoulder injury in early August. Hayek will now be forced to sit out for the entire 2024 season unless he is waived with an injury settlement by Kansas City.

Impact Hayek has been nursing a shoulder injury since the beginning of August, and the Chiefs have now decided to part ways with the Villanova product.
