Let go with injury settlement The Seahawks waived Westover (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Impact Westover signed with the Seahawks in April as an undrafted free agent. The Washington product only played in the preseason opener against the Chargers on Aug. 10, but his unspecified injury kept him out of the following two exhibition contests. The injury settlement allows Westover to sign with another team once he is fully healthy.
