Briefly pulled after fumble Robinson ran for 24 yards on eight carries against the Rams on Sunday. Impact Robinson lost a fumble in the first quarter and saw his playing time mostly cease in favor of Carlos Hyde, who ran for 24 yards and one touchdown on nine carries while losing a fumble of his own. The idea that Robinson should get pulled for one mistake, especially in favor of a player like Hyde, is the sort of ridiculousness that would barely seem possible with any other organization, but the Urban Meyer Jaguars are innovators in failure, and by now it's difficult to see how that changes until new people are in charge. After the game Meyer tried to evade responsibility when speaking to the press, saying on the one hand that Robinson's playing time was the prerogative of running backs coach Bernie Parmalee while at another point implying Robinson's foot and heel injuries might have affected his playing time. It will be worth monitoring Robinson's practice activity throughout the week, but if healthy he'll likely be the best player on the Jaguars offense as they take on the Titans in Week 14.
