Impact Conner had thrived in a leading role in recent weeks but came back down to earth while splitting carries with Chase Edmonds, who returned from an ankle injury of his own. Edmonds mustered 53 yards on six touches, as neither running back saw significant involvement due to a surprisingly negative game script. Conner's fantasy managers will be disappointed in this pedestrian performance against a Lions defense that's struggled to defend running backs, but at least the ankle injury he picked up at the end of last week's loss to the Rams doesn't appear to be an issue heading into the Week 16 matchup with the Colts.
