Likely fill-in for Conklin Hudson could be the starting right tackle in place of the injured Jack Conklin (knee) for Week 14 against the Ravens, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Impact Hudson, a 2021 fourth-round draft pick who converted from defensive end to offensive tackle during his final year at Cincinnati, has been used sparingly this season. He made one start in place of Conklin earlier this season and appeared in eight games, but the rookie has not played in the last three contests and was inactive in Cleveland's previous game before the bye. Blake Hance, a natural guard, had been used as the sixth lineman, filling in where needed, but head coach Kevin Stefanski did not commit to him playing right tackle this coming Sunday. With a banged up tight-end room, Hance may be used as a third tight end, something Austin Hooper alluded to when he said, "We all got to do what we've got to do. Blake [Hance], we've got an extra lineman to come in and give us good jumbo looks and do things like that when we want to get into those types of deals." The Browns hope Hudson will not hinder the team's running game, as Cleveland will deploy a healthy tandem of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, the latter who is good to go following a calf injury suffered in Week 12.
