Impact It was a low-volume passing script for the Saints in Week 12, as Denver could muster hardly any offensive momentum with practice squad call-up Kendall Hinton -- and a myriad of Broncos RBs -- taking snaps under center. For the two-time Pro Bowl tight end, his midseason slump continues, as Cook has just one combined catch for six receiving yards over his past three outings after he posted at least two receptions in every one of his appearances Weeks 1 through 9, with an average output of 39.9 receiving yards per game during that span. Taysom Hill is likely to remain his QB for a Week 13 matchup against the Falcons.

Back in end zone Week 7 Cook secured three of four targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' 27-24 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

Impact The veteran tight end was in line for a potentially elevated workload Sunday with both Michael Thomas (ankle/hamstring) and Emmanuel Sanders (illness) out of action, but Cook ultimately logged his second-lowest target tally of the campaign. Fortunately, Cook found the end zone for the second consecutive contest, opening the scoring on the afternoon with an excellent contested catch in the right corner of the end zone to cap off a game-opening 14-play, 75-yard drive.
