Waived from IR The Giants waived Corbin (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Impact Corbin was waived with an undisclosed injury Monday, and he reverted to IR for the Giants after going unclaimed on waivers Tuesday. How that he's secured an injury settlement, Corbin will be eligible to sign elsewhere in the league this season, once back to full health.

Impact Now that he's on IR, Corbin will be forced to miss the entire 2024 season unless he is waived with an injury settlement. He appeared in six-regular season games for the Giants in 2023, playing 14 snaps on offense and 117 snaps on special teams.

Gets new deal Corbin signed a reserve/future deal with the Giants on Sunday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Impact Corbin signed with New York as a UDFA out of Florida State in May. The 22-year-old spent the season on the team's practice squad, and although he was elevated for the wild-card round game against the Vikings, he was inactive for the contest. He'll now have the opportunity to earn a larger role with the team for next season.

Bumps up from practice squad The Giants elevated Corbin from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's wild-card game at Minnesota, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Impact Corbin has spent the entire season on New York's practice squad, but this will be the first chance for the undrafted rookie to make his pro debut. He returned 24 kicks between Texas A&M and Florida State, so if he's active Sunday he could make a mark on special teams.

Impact Corbin wasn't all that explosive -- he averaged only three yards per carry and didn't have any plays that went for longer than six yards -- but he did record the Giants' only rushing touchdown on a two-yard run up the middle in the second quarter.
