Miami Dolphins retain Javaris Davis for 2022 The former Auburn defensive back will proceed into 2022 with the Dolphins after a season on the practice squad.
Lands with Miami practice squad Davis was signed to the Dolphins' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact The Dolphins released quarterback Jake Rudock in a corresponding move. Davis was waived with a non-football injury designation during training camp but will now return to the team and provide depth in the defensive backfield.
