Cut loose by Houston The Texans waived/injured Thomas on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Impact Thomas signed a future/reserve contract with the Texans in January after being cut by the Ravens at the end of training camp in 2023. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, he will revert to Houston's injured reserve and will be forced to miss the entire 2024 season unless the two sides reach an injury settlement.
