Dealing with inflammation Coach Brandon Staley said Monday that Jackson is dealing with inflammation in his surgically-repaired ankle, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Impact Jackson underwent ankle surgery in August and is apparently still dealing with some residual effects from the procedure. He's missed two of the first three weeks of the season, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Sunday's matchup in Houston after sitting out the Chargers' Week 3 loss to Jacksonville.
