Cleared for wild-card round Arizona activated Watt (shoulder) from injured reserve ahead of Monday's wild-card game against the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Impact After undergoing surgery Nov. 3 to address labrum and rotator cuff injuries to his left shoulder, Watt appeared to be a long shot to make it back for the postseason, but the star defensive end advanced through his rehab quicker than anticipated. Arizona designated him for return from IR on Jan. 7, but it wasn't until this past Thursday that he took part in practices for the first time since late October. Watt fared well enough in those sessions for the Cardinals to bring him back on the 53-man roster, but he still could face a limited snap count as he makes his return to action just over two months after surgery. His ability to play even a handful of snaps is a positive development for Arizona in any event.
