Long touchdown in narrow defeat Burrow completed 26 of 38 passes for 281 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 25-22 overtime loss to the Packers. Impact Burrow found backup tailback Samaje Perine for a four-yard touchdown to begin his day, then salvaged an otherwise modest first-half performance by exploding for a 70-yard touchdown to Ja'Marr Chase on a scramble drill just before halftime. That play marked the longest pass of Burrow's career thus far, but he faltered by floating a throw on the run for an interception on Cincinnati's opening drive of the second half. Although he subsequently engineered a comeback drive and ultimately gave the Bengals a couple chances to win the game, Burrow did throw another pick on a miscommunication during overtime. Those two turnovers hurt his overall showing, but Burrow nonetheless impressed once again, particularly in connecting with Chase for nearly 160 yards. That pair will hope to continue their fruitful reunion while Burrow protects the ball better in Week 6 versus the winless Lions.
