Impact After going through warmups Wednesday, Love proceeded to take snaps and throw during on-field work, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site. Coach Matt LaFleur then revealed Love's activity level, and the quarterback spoke to the media not longer after. "I'm going to take the week and just take it day by day and see how it feels," Love noted. "I'm not going to make any decisions right now. I'm hopeful that I can get to that point where I can get in there, but we're just going to take it day by day." For the second week in a row, the Packers are leaving the door open for Love to suit up following the MCL sprain that he sustained in the season opener, but his ability to mix into drills seemingly gives him a much better chance this time around.

Impact Not only did Love participate in warmups and other drills in the Don Hutson Center prior to practice, he was seen taking snaps and throwing while wearing a sleeve on his left leg outside on the field, per Hodkiewicz. Love thus is making clear progress in his recovery from the MCL sprain that he suffered Week 1 against the Eagles in Brazil, but there's no telling if he may be trending toward a return to action as soon as this Sunday at Tennessee. Ultimately, Friday's injury report will reveal his chances to do so, but Malik Willis would get the nod under center for the Packers this weekend if Love continues to sit out.

Impact The lack of practice participation doesn't bode well for Love's chances of playing, nor does the diagnosis of an MCL sprain. The Packers will at least keep the door open, however, be it due to optimism about recovery progress or a desire to create some uncertainty for the Colts. If nothing else, it seems Love is doing better than initial reports suggested when estimating his recovery timeline at 3-6 weeks. Fantasy managers with interest in either Love or backup Malik Willis will want to check back Sunday morning when the Packers release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to a 1:00 ET kickoff.
