While Brown's injury has been referred to as a week-to-week concern and makes it unlikely he'll play Sunday against the Jets, Jones' status appears to be more up in the air. Ultimately, a clearer picture of Jones' outlook heading into the weekend will come Friday, when the Titans hold their final practice before the Jets game. If Jones remains absent from practice, he would likely be sidelined for Sunday's contest.

Impact While he never officially left the game, Jones played only six snaps in the second half of Sunday's 25-16 win over the Colts. He's reportedly receiving treatment Wednesday for a leg injury, with the Titans unsure if either Jones or Brown will be ready for Sunday's game against the Jets. The Titans had Nick Westbrook-Ikhine fill in with a 78-percent snap share last week, and their other options for perimeter snaps include 5-foot-8 speedster Cameron Batson, Josh Reynolds (a healthy scratch last week) and sixth-round rookie Racey McMath. The team also has Marcus Johnson (undisclosed) as a candidate to return from injured reserve this week, and slot specialist Chester Rogers can take some outside snaps in a pinch. Regardless, it would be a huge lift for the Titans to have Jones and/or Brown available.

Impact Though the Titans never officially announced that Jones sustained an injury in last week's win over the Colts, he played only six snaps in the second half of the contest, and head coach Mike Vrabel intimated afterward that the wideout's limitations were the result of a health concern rather than any dissatisfaction with his performance. Rapoport's report doesn't definitively state that Jones won't practice Wednesday as the Titans begin preparation for Week 4, but expect his reps to be at least limited to some extent, if he even gets on the field at all. Later Wednesday, Tennessee will release its first official injury report of the week, which could provide more specifics on the nature of Jones' leg issue as well as the extent of his activity in practice.

Impact Jones played a season-low 33 snaps (51 percent of the Titans' total offensive plays) in the contest, and Vrabel's comments point to the wideout's lack of usage being more the result of injury than dissatisfaction with his performance. While Vrabel didn't specify why Jones was supposedly only available "in case of emergency" late in the contest, Nick Lombardi of MusicCityMiracles.com relays that the star receiver appeared to land awkwardly on his left knee while converting a fourth-down reception in the first quarter. Jones was sporting tape on the knee upon checking back into the game, and he played only six second-half snaps in total before his afternoon was over. The Titans will release their first Week 4 injury report Wednesday, which should provide more insight into Jones' health situation heading into a matchup with the Jets this weekend.
