That said, Herbert -- who was diagnosed with an injury to the plantar fascia in his right foot on July 31 -- indicated Wednesday that he's back to 100 percent at this stage, per Kris Rhim of ESPN. Meanwhile, the Chargers' franchise QB relayed that he isn't wearing any special kind of cleat or sole to support his foot, adding that managing the injury throughout the season is "not really on (his) mind right now." In any case, Herbert is poised to start Sunday's regular-season opener against the Raiders.
