Fourth-down heroics not enough Herbert completed 34 of 64 pass attempts for 383 yards and three touchdowns to go along with one interception in Sunday's 35-32 overtime loss to the Raiders. Impact Herbert obliterated his previous career high in pass attempts (53) as the Chargers stormed back from a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to ultimately force overtime. While the second-year quarterback's critics will point to the signal caller's inability to win important games, it's hard to be anything but impressed with what Herbert's been able to do on the field. The penultimate 19-play, 83-yard drive that ultimately tied the game on an absolute laser to Mike Williams is a perfect example of the burgeoning star's capabilities. It's hard to imagine how Herbert could have outperformed his sterling rookie season, but with 5,014 passing yards and a ridiculous 41:15 TD:INT it's clear Herbert is among the best quarterbacks in the game and likely will be one of the top selected in fantasy come next season.
